Papa lived next door to us on Tower Drive in Vicksburg, MS. Ken and Cathey are our neighbors and our kids have grown up together. When Papa came to live with them a few years ago, it didn't take long to become Papa's friends. We laughed at his stories when he shared about the family history. He had a lot of stories to tell! He loved the garden around Ken's house. In the fall, He made sure no leaves would stay on the ground too long! My husband, Ken, would take Papa to Gideon meetings with him. Papa was a Gideon for a while and he so enjoyed those meetings. We could tell that Papa's faith was real. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Chester Hall. He was a precious man and we will always remember him.
